Who is responsible for the site

First Role Skills is an independent educational publication operated by the First Role Skills Editorial Desk. Privacy and data-use questions can be sent to privacy@firstroleskills.com.

Browser-only tools

The file-name builder and channel chooser process the text you enter inside your browser. These tool inputs are not uploaded to a First Role Skills database. Information may remain in your browser history, clipboard, or device, so use a trusted device and do not enter confidential workplace data.

Contact form and email messages

When you submit the contact form or email us, the site processes the name, email address, subject, message, timestamp, and technical delivery information needed to prevent abuse and deliver the message. We use this information to respond, investigate corrections or accessibility issues, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell contact details or add form submissions to marketing lists. Do not send passwords, employer records, applicant data, or confidential files.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting and security providers may process IP address, device and browser information, requested URL, time, and security events in ordinary server logs. These records support security, availability, abuse prevention, and fault diagnosis and are retained according to the applicable hosting and security configuration.

Analytics, Google AdSense, and cookies

Google AdSense ads and non-essential audience measurement are not currently serving on the public website. The site includes the Google AdSense review tag so Google can verify the domain and assess its eligibility. Loading that tag may cause a visitor's browser to contact Google even when no advertisement is displayed. If advertising is approved and enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and may also use AboutAds choices for participating third-party vendors.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, First Role Skills uses Google's certified consent management platform. The published Google message offers choices to accept, reject, or manage advertising purposes and partners. Non-essential advertising storage and personalized advertising are not enabled before the required consent signal. Retention and your choices

Contact messages and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, legal duties, backups, dispute handling, and abuse prevention. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about personal data by emailing privacy@firstroleskills.com. We may need limited information to verify and respond to a request.

Children and international access

The site is intended for people preparing for work and is not directed to children. The public website may be accessed internationally; hosting, form, security, consent, and advertising providers may process data in other countries subject to their applicable safeguards.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will update the date at the top of this page. This policy and the cookie notice will be reviewed again before advertising begins and whenever providers or data practices materially change.
