What we do
- Use clear headings so guides can be navigated by heading with a screen reader.
- Write in plain language with short paragraphs, lists and tables with header rows.
- Provide text alternatives for featured images.
- Use color combinations designed for readable contrast, and visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Keep pages responsive so they work on phones, tablets and desktop screens, and support browser zoom.
- Avoid content that flashes or moves automatically, and respect reduced-motion settings.
Standard
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably possible. Some content, such as downloadable practice files or third-party advertising, may not fully meet these guidelines.
Known limitations
Advertisements are provided by third parties and may not always meet our accessibility goals. Some older practice files are simple spreadsheets or text files without additional formatting.
