About the project
Practical skills before big claims.
First Role Skills is an independent educational project for people preparing for a first office or remote role. It is not a job board, recruiter, school, certification body, or representative of Google or Microsoft.
What we publish
We create short English-language guides around real beginner outcomes: writing a clear email, cleaning a small dataset, recording meeting actions, or organizing shared files. Each core guide includes a scenario, a controlled method, an original exercise, and a self-check.
Who writes the lessons
Lessons are published by the First Role Skills Editorial Desk, an organizational byline used while the project is operated as a small independent publication. We do not attach invented qualifications, employment history, or personal experience to that name.
How we build trust
- Practice data is fictional and clearly labeled.
- Product facts link to primary documentation.
- Instructions are tested before the live launch.
- Corrections are recorded and reviewed.
- AI assistance is disclosed and never replaces final accountability.
Commercial independence
The launch library contains no paid rankings, sponsored recommendations, affiliate links, or copied vacancies. If advertising is added later, it will be visually separated from editorial content and reflected in the privacy and cookie notices.
